We'd Go Down to the River
Just a quick update tonight. As the Boss ends and the Peppers begin, I figured I'd dash off some notes.Deftones and CKY Tuesday night. Nothing like brews, broads and tunes to mellow out midweek.Cut my hair this week. No objections to phase one of my hair plan. Thus far, that is.Finished Agent to the Stars, an online shareware novel by John Scalzi. Good stuff, Google for it and check it out.Born to Run is the greatest album of the 1970's, Zep be damned. That brings the score up to, for those actually keeping score:1960's: Pet Sounds -The Beach Boys1970's Born to Run- Bruce Springsteen1980's Songs from the Big Chair- Tears for Fears1990's Nevermind- NirvanaAll subject to change as I discover new classic albums, but that should sum it up for now.I didn't the the Crow movie. Oh well. How great were the Rolling Stones in the 60's?I like RC Cola from the old days, but I'm falling in love with Sun Drop too. I refuse to drink Natural Light though. I figure I've only tapped the natural redneck in all of us, and that's as far as it's going.Got back into the Prisoner. Damn, I love that show.Finished Metroid Fusion on my new GBA-SP twice since we last spoke. Great game, lots of fun. I'm hitting used game stores next week for some classic Game Boy fun.No name submissions from last weeks post. You're all slacking off. Or not reading. Either way, that's not good.I'm off for a quick shower and a shave, then some anime before bed.Hasta lumbago
