Miracles, or how eating half a spiral ham means you lost two pounds

Yes, it baffles me too. I am down two pounds. No April Fool here. Very shocking, based on how I ate this week.

Before I continue, I want to bid farewell to Mitch Hedberg and Frank Perdue. One was a bizarre stoner comedian, the other well known for great chicken not on the gas (that's steroids, for the unwashed). In addition, I wish all the best to His Holiness, the Pope. The poor man should have gotten to leave this rock long ago. Instead, he was ostensibly condemned to suffer here. I hope Heaven is nice, and has excellent pot, chicken and peirogis for these three cats respectively.

The new Beck album sounds really good. And yes, I did pay for it. Beck is one of the few artists I respect that much. With the new Nine Inch Nails record dropping soon, this will set a record for CDs obtained in a single month since 1999: two.

I'm having so much fun with Linux. Most of my apps won't compile and I wind up in RPM Hell, but I'm fairly certain it'll only get better. I'm also waiting with baited breath for Suse 9.3. I'm not holding my breath for ATI to release drivers/documentation to the OSS community. I guess I'm relegated to waiting for Suse to switch to X.Org. Otherwise, my eyes may melt out.

In the future, I'll be posting about what's doing in Linux in the Linux category. Thoughts on Wrestling will show up in Wrestling (duh!). Lastly, items about the blog appear in Meta. Everything else is General. This way, you know what to read and what to skip.

Sorry for the distraction. I forgot to mention all that in the initial post. Figured I'd get that out of the way now.

This new Beck album is really good. I can't stress that enough.

And I used up all the HTML formatting I can really do without CSS and still have it be readable, so I can't stress it any more ;)

I guess I'm rambling now. I should just go fix those links on the left side so I don't look like a total hoser.

Later cats and kittens. Leave proverbial love :)
